Being partial to music past, 2012 brings a welcome change. Although quite honestly, this doesn’t sound quite ‘new’ at all. But no complaints as this is just perfect. The album, Grand Hotel, releases this February 14.

Two Wheels Good
After almost a decade, I have my own bicycle again. Does it mean I’m going biking again? Sure hope so. So far, I’ve tried to make the most of the holiday break to go out and ride - after the dawn mass, running errands and even in the evening. I figured that if I apply the same mentality that I have looking forward to each day of riding to everything else, then what a real joy life can be.
I continue to ask myself why I’ve come to love riding the bike so much. The quick answer is I’ve gotten better at it even after starting at quite late an age that I was able to even join mountain bike races in the 90s. The long answer has more to do with freedom, peace, outdoors challenge and simplicity of the travel.
In other words, it’s meditation.
And the Joy of Quiet.
Think I’m gonna name my bike Pico. Or maybe the next bike I’m building.
Zaki hates pink so much that when she was 4 she got into a fight with the kinder class bully who teased her for wearing a ‘Hello, Kitty” shirt. And we received our first summons from the school director. Last? Hope so.
But then, her situation is more complicated than that. Seven-year stash of superhero figures ( and 1 ignored Baby Alive doll) and counting.
Believe me, Riley, as difficult it is for brainwashed adults to understand, I think we know what you mean.

It’s 2012. Even if you stay still, you’re not going to stop things from moving. We all travel.
